The only reason maybe which I could give why many great artists are associated with the use of cannabis is that it gives them a certain “high” or “butterfly feeling.” It is said that we are most creative when our brain waves are at the alpha level, which is the most relaxed state of the mind. When we smoke cannabis, our brain wave patterns usually move towards that of the alpha wave pattern. In this wave pattern, we are very creative and this is the brain wave pattern sought by most artists every time they want to be creative. This may be the reason too why many great artists so often use cannabis to give them this certain “high.”

Some of the most famous people of who is known that they use cannabis were the Beatles, one of the most popular bands to ever grace the music industry. Likewise, Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys said that he was extra creative when he was using cannabis.
